Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Social Karaoke. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Social Karaoke. If you use it on behalf of a group, you are responsible for that group's use.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

Do not use Social Karaoke to break the law or to harm others. In particular, do not:

• harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or add hateful, obscene, or infringing content;
• spam, disrupt rooms, or interfere with other users' enjoyment;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape, or circumvent the service, its rate limits, or its region rules;
• use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Your content and conduct

You are responsible for the nicknames, messages, songs, and other content you add. You grant us the limited right to store and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing a queued song to everyone in the room). We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Third-party content and services

Songs play through YouTube, and sign-in may use Google or Discord. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or services.

6. Intellectual property

The Social Karaoke name, site, and software are ours or our licensors'. You keep any rights you already have in the content you provide.

7. Service availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Rooms are temporary and archive automatically, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Karaoke is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Social Karaoke at any time and delete your account from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Social Karaoke operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
